Join us for Art & Conversation on the Opening of the “Wandering Years” Photography Exhibit!

Join us for an interesting afternoon of artwork and dialog on the opening reception for Wandering Years, a brand new pictures exhibit that includes the work of Philip Clay and Art Heinricher. This particular occasion affords a possibility to discover the exhibit, meet the photographers, and discover out extra about their inventive course of and the tales behind their work. 

All members of the campus group are welcome. Light refreshments might be served within the Gordon Conference Room

Philip Clay serves as WPI’s Senior Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management. His wandering years at WPI have led him from residence life to the Dean of Students Office, Student Affairs, and eventually to Enrollment Management. He works in partnership throughout the college and with tutorial management to make sure an applicable steadiness and synergy between tutorial and pupil life. Clay holds a BA in Fine Arts from St. Lawrence University and has been obsessed with pictures since he was younger. Check out one in all his very first pictures displayed within the entrance lobby show of Gordon Library! Philip is thrilled to be partnering together with his good buddy and fellow wandering photographer Art Heinricher on this exhibit.

Arthur Heinricher is a professor within the Mathematical Sciences Department at WPI.  He returned to the classroom in 2025, after serving as Dean of Undergraduate Studies for 15 years adopted by two phrases as Interim Provost. Heinricher began school as a pictures main earlier than switching to Mathematics and, ultimately, receiving a PhD at Carnegie-Mellon University.   Though his tutorial path has wandered, pictures – as craft and artwork – has been an enduring supply of pleasure and wonder and artistic inspiration.
