Madison College Performing Arts is wrapping up its 2025–26 season with a burst of humor, coronary heart and viewers participation.
The Tony Award‑successful musical comedy “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” will run April 17–19 on the Mitby Theater on the Truax campus.
The present follows a unusual group of center faculty spellers as they navigate competitors, id and the chaos of rising up. In true “Bee” style, every efficiency invitations 4 viewers volunteers onstage to compete alongside the forged, making each present a little bit completely different.

Directed by David Pausch, with music route by teacher Jamie Kember, vocal route by Sami Elmer, and choreography by KLJ Movement, the manufacturing highlights the expertise and teamwork inside Madison College Performing Arts.
Originally written by Rachel Sheinkin, with music and lyrics by William Finn, Spelling Bee stays a fan favourite, together with a latest Broadway revival.

Showtimes are:

  • Friday, April 17 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, April 18 at 2 p.m. and seven:30 p.m.
  • Sunday, April 19 at 2 p.m.

Tickets value $20 for adults, $13 for youth (17 and beneath) and seniors 65+, and free for Madison College college students.
