Shannon Parrau Named CAA Women’s Diver of the Year

TOWSON, Md. – Towson University diver Shannon Parrau has been named the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Women’s Diver of the Year, the CAA introduced on Friday. Parrau is Towson’s first ever CAA Women’s Diver of the Year award recipient.
 
This is Parrau’s second CAA end-of-year honor of her profession after being named the CAA Women’s Rookie Diver of the Year as a freshman in 2023. Parrau had probably the most dominant season of her profession because the senior swept the boards on the CAA Championships to earn 64 factors for Towson, greater than every other diver. She took gold within the 1-meter dive scoring 280.45 and the 3-meter dive at 295.85 and was named the Women’s Most Outstanding Diver of the Meet.
 
Parrau went on to compete on the 1-meter and 3-meter boards at NCAA Zone “A” Diving the place her scores positioned her within the high 30 in each boards on the CSCAA National Invitational Championships.
