Oh, my!  The yummy goodness, and absolutely the thrill of getting materials come to ME as a substitute of getting to drive to them.

The one in entrance of the home is a white one, and it’s trying wonderful as nicely!

Some people arrived on Wednesday afternoon, and others did not arrive till yesterday afternoon so actually the social gathering is simply getting began!

Projects are starting and issues are beginning to seem on design partitions.

And design flooring!

This is combined up bin quantity two. Started as a result of I did not have time for sorting on the time, after which I went from one bin of combine as much as two bins of combine up and it was simply time to kind it if I used to be going to make any progress with these materials in any respect.

It’s an enormous job.  I’m not going to lie. I might seize a handful and put it in my lap and I might simply determine which coloration pile the subsequent piece was stepping into.

Anything small and chunky went into one other basket.

Things too small or too skinny to avoid wasting had been tossed.

Not going in a short time when this woman hops up into my lap!

I’m glad to report that I’ve TWO empty bins. EMPTY.  The remaining string bins sorted by coloration household are nevertheless rather more full! LOL!  But, oh…the probabilities.

And I really like having “new to me” materials combined in with my very own scraps.  It makes it rather more enjoyable to make use of them up.

That is, if you may get Hazel out of the neutrals bin – as a result of I want to stitch with these proper now!

And there was a little bit of this.

I’m liking it thus far.

And I’m liking it even higher now that I’ve sorted out these two bins and located reds that I can use for the flying geese, an entire bunch of neutrals and aqua/turquoise and I’m not digging close to as a lot via stuff that I do not want for this venture to get to what I do want.

Last evening had me placing the ending stitches into the binding – half the hanging sleeve and label left to sew down. That ought to occur tonight!
