Athlete dies throughout swim portion of IRONMAN Texas triathlon in The Woodlands, organizers say

THE WOODLANDS, Texas – Officials with the IRONMAN Texas triathlon have confirmed {that a} participant died throughout the swim portion of Saturday’s occasion.

In a press release posted on-line and despatched to KPRC 2 News, organizers stated:

“We are saddened to substantiate the dying of a race participant throughout the swim portion of immediately’s IRONMAN Texas triathlon.
