Garden Court barristers recognised on Pro Bono Recognition List of England & Wales 2026

We are delighted to announce that Garden Court barristers have been listed on the Pro Bono Recognition List of England & Wales 2026.

The Pro Bono Recognition List of England & Wales, endorsed by the Lady Chief Justice of England & Wales, The Baroness Carr of Walton-on-the-Hill, has now been revealed. The List recognises barristers and solicitors who gave 25 hours or extra professional bono authorized help over the past 12 months.

25 Garden Court barristers have been listed: Sonali Naik KC, Marc Willers KC, Allison Munroe KC, Greg Ó Ceallaigh KC, Joanne Cecil KC, Amanda Meusz, Helen Curtis, Abigail Holt, Dr Mary Malecka, Kate Aubrey-Johnson, Tim Baldwin, Stephen Lue, Raza Halim, Sangeetha Iengar, James Holmes, Susan Wright, Matthew Ahluwalia, Ollie Persey, Steven Galliver-Andrew, Oscar Davies, Lorna Cservenka, Acland Bryant, Maya Thomas Davis, Daniella Davenport, and Leanna Burnard.

In addition to these listed above, a lot of our different members incessantly tackle circumstances professional bono. We recognise that professional bono work isn’t an alternative to the disaster in authorized help companies.

We are happy with our longstanding dedication to entry to justice, together with by our Special Fund. As a Chambers, now we have donated over £3 million to small authorized, campaigning or charitable organisations enterprise work in defence of civil liberties or entry to social justice. Every member of chambers contributes financially to the Special Fund. Most of the organisations we help enhance entry to justice for deprived, marginalised or susceptible members of society.
