Travel prices rise as Americans look past huge cities to smaller locations

ARNAUDVILLE, LA – As journey prices proceed to climb, some Americans are rethinking their locations, swapping out journeys to main cities for smaller cities.

In Arnaudville, Louisiana, that development is beginning to present up.

Lemarié has hosted almost 500 stays at his small wood cabin, generally known as “Cajun Acres,” which attracts guests from throughout the nation and around the globe.

“Phoenix, Arizona… Auckland, New Zealand… Marseille, France,” he stated.

He stated many company are merely searching for a quiet getaway.

“We do get a lot of people who come to visit New Orleans, but they want to see what’s Louisiana life like,” Lemarié stated. “So they like to get out of the city for a few days… where it’s much more relaxed and laid back.”

Arnaudville sits on the intersection of Bayou Teche and Bayou Fuselier, the place guests can discover swamp excursions, native artwork areas and stay Cajun music.

Arnaudville was lately featured on a listing by Airbnb highlighting 20 lesser-known locations throughout the U.S.; locations the corporate says vacationers could not have thought of earlier than.
