Position Summary

The ICP Event Ambassador represents ICP at exterior occasions, festivals, and neighborhood outreach alternatives. Please word your availability for the listed occasion dates in your software. Preference will likely be given to candidates obtainable for a number of dates.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities

• Pick up outreach supplies from ICP previous to scheduled occasions
• Transport supplies to and from occasion areas (journey reimbursed)
• Set up and break down ICP info desk
• Engage attendees and share details about ICP packages, programs, and occasions
• Answer fundamental questions and direct extra advanced inquiries to acceptable ICP contacts
• Distribute promotional supplies and acquire contact info when relevant
• Maintain an expert and welcoming presence all through the occasion
• Return all supplies to ICP after occasion completion
• Provide temporary recap notes following every occasion

Qualifications

• ICP alumni most popular; present or former ICP employees expertise a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal expertise
• Comfortable talking with the general public and representing ICP
• Reliable and arranged, with means to handle logistics independently
• Able to move supplies (sometimes mild to average weight)
• Familiarity with ICP packages most popular

Compensation

Flat event-based charge:

Half day (as much as 4 hours): $150–$200

Full day (5–8 hours): $250–$350

Travel bills associated to occasion participation are reimbursable in accordance with ICP coverage.

Compensation applies solely when people are particularly engaged within the ICP Event Ambassador function for a scheduled occasion.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to face for prolonged durations throughout occasions
• Ability to elevate and transport outreach supplies (as much as roughly 25 lbs)
• Ability to journey domestically to occasion areas
