‘Streamer’ Provides to Solid; Justin Hughes’ Gaming Thriller to Shoot in LA

Video sport streamers are getting scarier than ever, due to a brand new gaming psychological thriller that provides a brand new lethal troll to the combination.

“Streamer,” a brand new movie from author/director Justin Hughes, has added 4 gamers to its solid, Variety can affirm. Freddy Piazza (the quick movie “Overdue,” impartial stage productions of “Face Divided” and “9 Circles”), Rachel Alig (“Mistake,” “Found Footage”), Francesca Rowe (microdramas like “Playing it Real” and “Broken Queen”) and Okay.C. Wolf (“Yesterday”) have joined the movie, which is ready to movie in Los Angeles and Ventura this spring.

Per the official logline, “The story follows Teddy (Piazza), a popular yet divisive internet streamer who gets drawn into a dangerous game of cat-and-mouse against a mysterious troll with a vendetta against him.”

The movie is Hughes’ function debut. Previously, his shorts like “A Curious View,” “Where Does the Maiden Lie?” and “Fractal Chaos” have been proven at festivals throughout the nation, together with the Catalina Film Festival, Big Apple Film Festival and LA Shorts International Film Festival.

Casey Krehbiel is producing the movie via his Blue Bow Tie Productions firm. Jaime Gallagher, CSA is serving as co-producer and casting director for “Streamer.”

In addition to performing work, Piazza has grown a social media presence through exhibiting his journey shifting from North Carolina to Los Angeles with a purpose to pursue performing. His fanbase has grown to 1 million followers on TikTok and 100k on Instagram.
