A gaggle of over a dozen organizations, loosely named the Lincoln Creek Greenway Workgroup, are excited to announce the 2026 Lincoln Creek Week. The Lincoln Creek Workgroup, and varied neighborhood companions, will host per week of free, enjoyable and family-friendly actions for all ages, together with paddling, biking, mountaineering and extra. Organizations will activate varied areas of town of Milwaukee with the hopes to assist residents reimagine and have a good time the fantastic thing about the Lincoln Creek Greenway.
The week will kick off with a neighborhood picnic celebration on Saturday, June twentieth from 12-3pm at McGovern Park and shut on Saturday, June twenty seventh from 12-3 at Lincoln Park. Each occasion will characteristic nature- primarily based actions, info from neighborhood companions, prizes, giveaways, free meals and extra. During Lincoln Creek Week, neighborhood companions will provide actions reminiscent of studying to kayak, academic nature displays, volunteer service alternatives, a chook stroll, and a motorbike trip.
