Rifaterra Earns All-America Honors on Day 4 of NCAA Outdoor Championships

EUGENE, Ore. – The Virginia girls’s monitor and subject crew accomplished competitors on the 2026 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Hayward Field on Saturday (June 13) as Celia Rifaterra earned All-America honors within the girls’s excessive soar. 

• Celia Rifaterra completed T-Thirteenth within the girls’s excessive soar clearing 1.79m/5-10.5 to earn Second Team All-America accolades.
• Rifaterra cleared the primary two heights within the competitors on her first try earlier than knocking the bar down at 1.84m/ 6-0.5.
• In her third NCAA Outdoor look, Rifaterra tabbed her first Second Team All-America honors after incomes First Team accolades final season with a seventh-place end and Honorable Mention honors in 2024.

• Nathan Mountain completed ninth within the males’s 3000-meter steeplechase clocking 8:38.01.
• Nikolaos Polychroniou threw a brand new private better of 69.48m/227-11 to complete 10^th within the males’s hammer throw. 
• Charlotta Sandkulla completed 11^th within the girls’s hammer throw together with her mark of 65.57m/215-1. 
• Celia Rifaterra completed T-Thirteenth within the girls’s excessive soar clearing 1.79m/5-10.5.
• Will Daley completed 15^th within the males’s 5000-meters crossing the road in 13:59.78.
