NEW COMMIT: The Georgia Institute of Technology has picked up a brand new verbal dedication for the 2027-28 season from Daniel Mitka of Denver, Colorado. Mitka is a Junior National qualifier who excels in breaststroke and IM. He competes internationally for Czechia.

He will be part of Liam Drake in Atlanta as a member of the Yellow Jacket’s Class of 2031.

Regarding his dedication, he stated:

First, I want to thank my parents for supporting me from the beginning, allowing me to move on my own at the age of 16, and helping me chase my dreams. Mitka, who does his membership swimming with University of Denver Hilltoppers, earned seven finest instances at Four Corner Speedo Sectionals in March the place he had 5 top-8 finishes. That was after he received three occasions at Colorado Seniors in February.
