Barnes Broadcasts 2026-27 Duke Swim & Dive Slate

DURHAM, N.C. – Duke Director of Swimming and Diving Brian Barnes unveiled Tuesday afternoon the Blue Devils’ swimming and diving schedule for the upcoming 2026-27 marketing campaign.
 

The schedule is highlighted by three dwelling meets, seven contests in North Carolina and 6 twin meets towards males’s and ladies’s squads that completed within the high 25 of the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) rankings.
 
HOME SWEET HOME
The Blue Devils are slated to host three twin meets on the Taishoff Aquatics Pavilion throughout the common season, beginning with the official dwelling opener Oct. 24 towards Virginia Tech. Duke returns to Durham for a two-day meet Nov. 6-7 towards Northwestern, with the house finale going down Jan. 29-30 when the Blue Devils host Tennessee on Senior Day.
 
LOCAL ACTION
Duke stays near dwelling for almost all of the season with seven of the ten common season meets being held within the state of North Carolina. The intrasquad Blue/White Week (Sept. 13-20) gives a closing preseason tuneup for the Blue Devils earlier than the crew formally dives into the 2026-27 slate with a pair of dual-squad street meets at Davidson (Oct. 2) and North Carolina (Oct. 16). Duke caps the common season Feb. 3-5 on the UNC Invite in Chapel Hill.
 
POSTSEASON COMPETITION

The ACC Swimming & Diving Championship returns to Greensboro, with the convention meet set for Feb. 16-20 on the Greensboro Aquatic Center. NCAA Diving Zones can be held March 7-10 in Knoxville, Tennessee, with the NCAA Women’s Championships (March 17-20) and NCAA Men’s Championships (March 24-27) held on the Lee & Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center in Austin, Texas, to wrap up the season.
