‘It’s a home with plenty of surprising turns,’ says Angus. A living proof is the shell-encrusted first-floor cloakroom created by specialist artist Katherine Lloyd. Every inch of the bijou room is roofed in deep-sea treasures, sea glass and semi-precious stones. Painstakingly utilized by Katherine, the shellwork has a dynamic, undulating sample that features a favorite Buchanan Studio motif – the stripe.
