Taliaferro stated images helped him see past his upbringing and broadened his definition of Black magnificence. “Black Woman As Muse” is the second ebook Taliaferro has printed that celebrates Black girls. His first, “Women of a New Tribe,” was printed in 2007 and explored related themes difficult Eurocentric magnificence requirements.
