The twelfth annual “Nature Writing Workshop” with poet and author Jerry Martien will happen Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. on the Headwaters Forest Reserve

Martien, together with poet and CalTrout restoration supervisor Katy Gurin, will the workshop. Participants will meet on the Elk River Trailhead and stroll one-half mile alongside the paved Elk River Trail to the Headwaters Education Center to write down and share poetry.
