In celebration of America 250 and the neighborhood, One Table and Town of Farmville will maintain a lined dish supper and neighborhood dialog at 6 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 17.
The Town of Farmville invited One Table to carry its eleventh annual gathering on Main Street between East Third and High streets as a part of the year-long celebration of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.
The occasions start at 5 p.m. with the dedication of a brand new mural created by a neighborhood artist and her college students, adopted by a shared meal, youth essay contest winners studying their items, and dialog time to debate the scholars’ concepts.
One Table has created a pupil essay contest with money prizes for the highest three winners. All public, personal and home-schooled highschool college students from Prince Edward and the Farmville portion of Cumberland are eligible and are inspired to submit essays for the award. The essays — as much as 500 phrases — ought to deal with the theme
