Georgia Proclaims 2026-27 Schedule – University of Georgia Athletics

ATHENS, Ga. – The University of Georgia swimming and diving programs announced their 2026-27 competition schedule Tuesday afternoon.

 

Georgia’s home schedule features the annual Georgia Fall Invitational, the biennial Florida meet, and the final regular season match of the College Swimming League (CSL) season at Bauerle Pool at Gabrielsen Natatorium. The Bulldogs will also travel for a CSL match, along with road dates at Texas A&M, Georgia Tech, and Tennessee.

 

The 2026-27 season opens with the Bulldogs’ first CSL match against Alabama, NC State, and Virginia on Friday, Sept. 25 at the FMC Natatorium in Westmont, Ill. The Bulldogs will then travel to Texas A&M on Saturday, Oct. 10, followed by a home diving meet against Alabama on Friday, Oct. 23 preceding the CSL event.

 

Georgia will host SEC rivals Alabama, Auburn, and Tennessee in the sixth and final CSL regular season match on Oct. 23. Tickets for the match will go on sale for the match on August 24. The Bulldogs will remain home the following Friday as they host Florida on Oct. 30 to kick off the Georgia-Florida rivalry weekend, which will also include matchups in football and soccer.

 

If Georgia advances in the CSL postseason, the Wild Card (Nov. 5) and Championship (Nov. 6) matches will be held at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis. The fall season concludes with the Georgia Fall Invitational running Thursday, Nov. 19 through Sunday, Nov. 22.

 

Following the holiday break, Georgia returns to action in Atlanta against rival Georgia Tech on Friday, Jan. 8, followed by another road rivalry meet against Tennessee on Saturday, Jan. 23. The home regular season concludes with Senior Day against Emory on Saturday, Jan. 30.

 

Georgia will begin postseason competition at the SEC Championships in Austin, Texas, followed by the Bulldog Invitational/Last Chance Meet. The Bulldogs will take part in NCAA action with the Zone B Diving Championships (March 7-10) in Knoxville, followed by the Women’s Championships (March 17-20) and Men’s Championships (March 24-27) both in Austin.

 

In addition to Georgia team events, selected student-athletes will compete in the U.S. Short Course World Championship Trials (Oct. 28-31 in Westmont, Ill.), the U.S. Open (Dec. 2-5 in Austin, Texas), and the USA Diving Winter National Championships (Dec. 9-15 in Midland, Texas).

 

Start times for all meets and promotional information for home meets will be released in the coming weeks.
