Help us win the Ulster County Food Fight

From September 2 -October 17, as soon as once more we’d like YOUR assist to win the Ulster County Food Fight! How are you able to assist? By donating unexpired, unopened dry or canned items to one in every of our meals donation packing containers on the desk.

New within the Gallery this September: “The Sequential Art of Al Nickerson”

This September, see the work of comedian artist and animator Al Nickerson. He is the comedian e-book self-publisher of the “Sword of Eden” graphic novel collection. Al was a comic book e-book artist for DC Comics and Archie Comic Publications, and an artist for Marvel Comics and Warp Graphics. He was a designer and animator for “Sesame Street,” MTV Animation, and Nickelodeon. Keep a watch out for the date of the reception for this present.

Scrabble Club Tuesdays, 6 p.m.: Come play Scrabble on the library! Newcomers welcome.

What’s the Stitch? 

Saturdays, 10 a.m.: Knit, crochet, embroider or in any other case craft on the library.

Chair Zumba for All Abilities on the primary, third and fifth Wednesdays of the month at 10 a.m.: Join EPLM and licensed teacher Dr. Shellie Fraddin for Zumba periods which might be appropriate for all health ranges.

Yoga Wednesdays, 6 p.m.: Join Kristina Knott for a yoga class fitted to inexperienced persons. 

Toddler Storytime with the NAACP Youth Commission, Fridays from 4 p.m. to five p.m.: Parents of toddlers aged two to 4, come to the library for storytime and assist your youngsters develop their imaginations and love of studying. Each week, a narrative reader from the NAACP will conduct storytime within the library. Sign up on the desk. All youngsters should be accompanied by a caregiver always. 

Teen and Tween Pokémon Club for ages 9-17 on two Thursdays, September 24 and October 29 from 4 p.m. to five:30 p.m.: Teens and tweens will be capable of play Pokémon and commerce playing cards on the library as soon as a month.

Grandparents Day Craft, Thursday, September 10 at 4 p.m.: Make a particular craft for the additional particular grandparents in your life. Kids aged 5 to 11 can join at the moment.

Family film, Saturday, September 12 at 1 p.m.: Join us as we watch a film full of sudden animal enjoyable! Children below age 10 should be accompanied by an grownup.
