Acer’s Project DualPlay Mini Is Gaming Handheld That Turns into A Tiny Laptop computer

It would not be a tech present in 2026 with out a beefy gaming handheld idea or two. Acer has dutifully obliged at IFA with its Project DualPlay Mini, a handheld that converts right into a mini laptop computer.

The Predator-branded idea is designed to “move fluidly between gaming and productivity without requiring a separate device for each,” Acer wrote in a press launch. It would theoretically provide one of the best of PC and handheld console gaming, with a standard controller setup in its handheld configuration, and a backlit keyboard and mouse choice reserved for first-person shooters and technique video games.
