Jessica Alba to star in ‘The Fun Lady’, Highland launching TIFF gross sales | Information

EXCLUSIVE: Jessica Alba will star in and produce the true-life comedy The Fun Lady concerning the entrepreneur Linda Brewer, who turned her life round when she started promoting intercourse toys. Highland Film Group has begun gross sales in Toronto.

Andy Tennant, director of the romantic comedies Sweet Home Alabama, Fool’s Gold and Hitch, will helm the mission from a screenplay by Shameless and Mozart In The Jungle author Mark Steilen.

When Brewer’s life fell aside she returned to her mother and father’ small Arkansas city and reinvented herself, studying about pleasure and launching a gross sales enterprise that introduced intercourse toys into the houses of Southern girls who quietly endured an absence of intimacy.
