Noor House / Marcos Lula

Text description offered by the architects. Casa Noor was born from the will to create a house that, above all, mirrored a household’s every day life. Rather than a proper residence, the mission was envisioned as a gathering place—an area for spontaneous interplay throughout generations. For this purpose, we selected to omit a traditional “front door”: entry is direct and pure, eliminating formalities that didn’t match the dynamics of the household and their associates. The structure attracts inspiration from the clear, gentle traces of Brazilian modernism, highlighting the expression of supplies and revealing the house’s structural honesty.
