World Para Swimming pronounces preliminary 2027 and 2028 competitors calendars

World Para Swimming (WPS) has introduced the preliminary 2027 and 2028 competitors calendars, that includes the World Series, Open Water Cup, Parapan American Games and Paralympic Games.  

Six host cities have been confirmed for the 2027 and 2028 World Series seasons, with Incheon, South Korea becoming a member of the Series for the primary time.  

Australia will as soon as once more open the Para swimming motion within the lead-up to the Los Angeles 2028 Paralympic Games. World Series Australia 2027 will happen from 19 to 21 February, whereas the 2028 version is scheduled for 18 to twenty February. Both competitions might be held within the Gold Coast, which first hosted the occasion in 2026. 

WPS will replace the calendar with the 2027 World Championships and extra World Series legs sooner or later.
