Aurora Gaming edged Team Vitality on Saturday to advance to the grand final at the StarLadder StarSeries Fall in Barcelona, Spain.

Team Vitality dropped to the lower-bracket final against FURIA on Sunday, with the winner meeting Aurora Gaming later in the day.

The $500,000 Tier 1 Counter-Strike 2 event runs Thursday through Sunday and features eight teams in a double-elimination bracket. All matches are best-of-three until the best-of-five grand final.

The winning club will take home $200,000, split between a $100,000 player prize and a $100,000 team share.

Aurora Gaming opened the upper-bracket final on Saturday with a 13-7 win on Anubis before Team Vitality drew level with a 13-11 win on Inferno. Aurora took the match with a 13-8 victory on Nuke.

Jimi “Jimpphat” Salo of Finland paced Aurora was voted player of the match with a match-high 53 kills and a plus-19 kill-death differential.

Earlier in the playoffs, FURIA had a solid start in the lower-bracket quarterfinals with a 13-8 win on Cashe before MOUZ drew even with a 19-16 double-overtime win on Mirage. FURIA closed out with a 13-6 victory on Nuke.

Brazil’s Kaike “KSCERATO” Cerato was voted the player of the match with a match-high 66 kills and a plus-21 K-D differential for FURIA.

MIBR dominated NRG 2-0 in the other lower-bracket quarterfinal, winning 13-7 on Cache and 13-2 on Inferno.

Sweden’s Linus “LNZ” Holtang was voted the player of the match with 28 kills and a plus-6 K-D differential for MIBR.

FURIA swept MIBR 13-8 on Mirage and 13-11 on Nuke to win the lower-bracket semifinal. Latvia’s Mareks “YEKINDAR” Galinskis was voted the player of the match with a match-high 40 kills and a plus-8 K-D differential for FURIA.
