2026-27 ACC Swimming & Diving Season Set to Start Thursday

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – The 2026-27 ACC Swimming & Diving season will start Thursday, September 24, with the inaugural College Swimming League (CSL) match that includes Louisville.
 
The No. 8 Cardinals’ ladies and No. 12 males will journey to Westmont, Illinois, to compete towards No. 5/No 2 Indiana, No. 6/No. 8 Michigan and No. 11/No. 13 Ohio State. This meet will start at 6:30 p.m. ET and stream stay on ESPN+.
 
CSL motion continues Friday, September 25, with No. 1/10 Virginia competing towards convention foe No. 9/7 NC State, No. 15/18 Alabama and No. 12/16 Georgia. The Cavaliers and Wolfpack may even be competing in Westmont, at 6:30 p.m. ET on ESPN+.
 
The No. 16 North Carolina ladies and No. 19 males will open their season in Charlotte, North Carolina, on Friday towards Queens at 11 a.m. ET.
 

Virginia is the preseason No. 1 staff within the CSCAA Women’s Swimming & Diving Top 25 Poll, adopted by No. 2 Stanford, No. 7 California, No. 8 Louisville, No. 9 NC State, No. 16 North Carolina and No. 21 Duke. 
 

California leads the ACC contingent at No. 4 within the CSCAA Men’s Swimming & Diving Top 25 Poll, adopted by No. 7 NC State, No. 8 Stanford, No. 10 Virginia, No. 11 Virginia Tech, No. 12 Louisville, No. 19 North Carolina and No. 23 Florida State.

Noting ACC Swimming and Diving

• The Virginia ladies’s swimming program received its document sixth consecutive NCAA Women’s Swimming & Diving championship on the 2026 NCAA Championships.
• Stanford ladies’s swimming & diving is the one program within the nation to complete within the high 10 in each NCAA Championship relationship again to the 1975-76 season, most not too long ago ending because the runner-up within the 2026 NCAA Women’s Swimming & Diving Championships.
• Virginia head coach Todd DeSorbo was named the George Haines Coach of the Year by the American Swimming Coaches Association for the second straight yr.
• The 2027 ACC Swimming & Diving Championships will happen February 16-20, 2027, on the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, North Carolina.
