Hockey hosts pair of exhibition video games this weekend

Alaska Anchorage will host Mount Royal and the University of Mary this weekend in a pair of exhibition video games. Both video games are free admission. 

Series

This would be the first assembly between Alaska Anchorage and Mount Royal and the University of Mary.  

Coach Rud

Head coach Eric Rud enters his first season main the Seawolves. He beforehand served as an assistant coach at St. Cloud, Miami and Colorado College. Rud served as the top coach of the ladies’s at St. Cloud for 5 seasons (2014-19). 

Captain

Senior Karter McNarland will function workforce captain this season. The Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, native leads the workforce in each profession factors (35) and profession assists (26) and ranks second in profession video games performed (73). 

Top objective scorers return

UAA returns its prime two objective scorers from 2025-26, junior Aiden Westin and sophomore Tye Spencer, who every scored eight targets. Westin scored seven of his eight targets on the powerplay final season and completed with 9 factors. Spencer scored twice on the powerplay and completed with 13 factors.  

Goalies

Junior Bryant Marks returns in objective for the Seawolves. The native of Wasilla, Alaska has a 3.80 targets towards common and an .883 save share in 9 profession video games. 

The Seawolves welcome two new goalies to the workforce. Senior William Gramme began his profession at Wisconsin earlier than enjoying the final two seasons at Northern Michigan. Freshman Joey Rocha spent final season with the Weyburn Red Wings (SJHL). 

Freshmen

The Seawolves have 11 gamers on this years squad, second most within the nation.
