Host a Block Party or be part of the enjoyable throughout National Night Out

Neighbors throughout Tyler may have a number of alternatives to return collectively for National Night Out on Tuesday, Oct. 6, with three neighborhood celebrations hosted by the City of Tyler and Tyler Police Department. 

Neighborhoods and neighborhood teams may participate by internet hosting their very own National Night Out celebrations, giving neighbors an opportunity to fulfill the individuals who reside close by and join with native cops. 

The three City-hosted celebrations will characteristic household actions, meals, native distributors and alternatives to fulfill Tyler Police officers and organizations serving the neighborhood. 

Community members can select from: 

• Hillside Park (1111 E. Erwin St.): 5 p.m. to eight p.m., that includes folkloric dancing 

• Tyler Municipal Court (813 N. Broadway Ave.): 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. 

• Downtown Tyler – Plaza Tower Patio (110 N. College Ave.): 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. 

National Night Out is an annual community-building marketing campaign celebrated throughout the nation. The program brings residents and legislation enforcement collectively whereas encouraging neighbors to attach, construct relationships and take an lively function within the security of their communities.
