Sources close to RealSport report that OpTic Gaming will sign young Danish rifler Ismail ‘refrezh’ Ali to replace Nikolaj “niko” Kristensen effective immediately. This will end niko’s short run on OpTic Gaming having never been formally announced the organization. There were rumors niko had never come to personal terms with OpTic Gaming. The change for OpTic comes after what’s been an up and down year for OpTic Gaming who have failed to qualify for most premier tournaments this season. However, they have had a strong end to the year qualifying for ESL Pro League and the upcoming EU Minor in Katowice.

The signing comes days before the official roster lock (January 1st) and gives OpTic time to acclimate the young star who most recently played with the Cloud9 international roster.
The rumored OpTic CS:GO lineup will be:

Ismail ‘refrezh’ Ali
Kristian ‘K0nfig’ Wienecke
Marco ‘Snappi’ Pfeiffer
Rene ‘cajunb’ Borg
Jakob ‘JUGi’ Hansen
