“Rev Up Your Fun: Mobile Gaming Truck Hits the Streets of Imperial Valley!”

BRAWLEY — A distinctive entertainment opportunity has emerged in the heart of Imperial Valley, fusing the excitement of gaming with the ease of mobility. Next Level Gaming mobile gaming truck is gaining attention, providing residents with a state-of-the-art, on-the-go gaming experience like no other.

These trucks function as mobile gaming arcades, furnished with numerous gaming stations, large displays, and superior sound systems. The 30-foot custom-built truck, owned by Marva Walker II, a retired Air Force veteran, is filled with a collection of popular games. It has quickly become a favorite among children, teenagers, and even adults seeking to elevate their gatherings.

“I wanted to introduce something that the city already offered,” noted Walker, clarifying that she is not the pioneer of mobile gaming trucks; instead, she took the concept and brought it to Brawley. “Bringing it to the Imperial Valley provides exposure for those children who can’t reach across the mountain, or those parents who are unable to provide that experience at a VIP level.”

She launched her venture in 2019 during the pandemic when venues like arcades and bowling alleys were shuttered. “It allowed parents to stay home while I come to them,” she remarked.

The truck can accommodate several players simultaneously and is fully air-conditioned, making it ideal for the valley’s warm weather. Events such as birthday parties, school fundraisers, and corporate team-building gatherings have already been reserved weeks ahead of time.

Walker stated, “There are five TVs inside, and each screen can host four children.”

For educational events, she curtails the game selection to make it suitable for various ages.

“It’s not solely for the eight or nine-year-olds or the teenage parties,” Walker remarked. “Communication is the primary aspect,” she explained regarding her approach to customizing the gaming truck for different age brackets and events.

“We maintain XBOX 360 because we can upgrade the hard drive,” Walker said about keeping pace with the ever-evolving gaming industry and the launch of new games. The truck is also equipped with a latest PS4. She considers it all part of the business upkeep.

Walker revealed that guests typically prefer older game editions. “Most individuals are reluctant to try the new titles because they haven’t become familiar with them.” However, she does provide access to the latest games.

“It’s a skill set relevant to where society is heading. Everything these kids are engaged in involves multitasking.” Some titles, like Minecraft, instruct children on coding and require meticulous attention. 

The city of Brawley is gearing up to establish an esports team for dedicated gamers. “I believe it’s fantastic. Technology is ever-evolving, and this generation is going to be tech-savvy,” Walker expressed.

“There’s a substantial income potential in gaming,” she added, observing a rising pattern of females embracing the gaming culture. “They are out there!” 

In closing the enthusiasm surrounding the initiative, Walker exclaimed, “I aspire to be a nerd!”
