Request for Photographs of Pulaski County Veterans and Members of the Armed Forces

PULASKI, Va. — The Pulaski County Courthouses Exhibits Committee will once more show pictures of Pulaski County veterans and members of the armed forces in the course of the upcoming vacation season on the Veterans Christmas Trees situated on the primary flooring of the Pulaski County Old Historic Courthouse.

To date, greater than 400 pictures of county veterans have been donated by relations. Forms to submit extra photographs can be found on the Pulaski County Treasurer’s Office. Each picture have to be of a soldier who has lived in Pulaski County in some unspecified time in the future throughout their lifetime.

In addition, anybody submitting a photograph for the Veterans Trees might also submit an extra picture for the

Collage of Soldiers Wall, which is a part of the struggle exhibit situated on the third flooring of the courthouse.

The Christmas tree picture — ideally of the veteran in uniform — must be framed, with the body and movie collectively no bigger than 3 by 4 inches. The picture for the Collage of Soldiers Wall shouldn’t be framed and must be no bigger than 3 by 5 inches.

Photographs may be submitted to the Pulaski County Treasurer’s Office, Old Historic Courthouse, Main Street, Pulaski, VA 24301. Office hours are Monday by Friday. For extra info, name 540-980-7785.

The deadline to submit photographs is Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2025.

Information required on the submission kind contains:

1. Name of veteran
2. Rank and department of service (if recognized)
3. War or location of service
4. Dates of service (if recognized)
5. Name, handle, and telephone variety of the individual submitting the {photograph}

All pictures will develop into the property of Pulaski County and will probably be used yearly to embellish the Veterans Trees.

The Veterans Trees are scheduled to be on show for public viewing by Monday, Dec. 1, 2025, and can stay on show by the primary week of January 2026.
