Wisconsin guard Nick Boyd displays on time with Badgers

“We have a lot more basketball to play. The highs and lows of it all is what basketball is all about,” Boyd stated. “Time is flying. And you know what they say, time flies when you have fun. I’m not taking nothing for granted no more. I never really did, but even more so with this last stretch.”

And one in all his greatest reflections has been the conclusion of what it has meant to put on “Wisconsin” throughout his chest.

“I think it made me realize how powerful a school brand can be nationwide, how much respect, how much notoriety comes with the game of basketball playing in the Big Ten, at a high-level university like this,” Boyd stated. “Everybody’s watching, and no matter what, you got to do your best to make sure you’re representing the right way.”

Boyd’s ultimate aim in Madison is ensuring that he makes it again to the stage he’s been used to.

And ensuring the state of Wisconsin that he confidently represents is seen on the most important stage.

“I feel like the energy is contagious, and understanding like, it’s our last couple games coming up here. For myself, my last run, my last go in college,” Boyd stated. “Just going for it. Don’t worry if you miss, don’t worry if you turn it over. Let’s go get it back. And if we have that mindset and we’re just aggressive and confident and have that energy, we’re going to have a fun March.”
