He’s so efficient and as he was able to incorporate tempo into his stroke, he was able to close his races in some of the fastest swimming I’ve seen on the Zeeland team. He was able to put together a great 200IM and 100 backstroke at state but was able to swim any event throughout the season as someone that was an immediate scorer no matter what event he swam, improving the most on his freestyle. He made big improvements from his Sophomore year and with his work ethic, the sky is the limit on where he can take his swimming for next season.” – Drew Scheerhorn

He was also able to put up the fastest 50 breaststroke split in our 200 medley relay in MHSAA history. He races hard and looks for small ways to improve as he was able to make a few adjustments from prelims to finals to finish second in his favorite event and was only .09 away from the win. He also developed more than just his breaststroke as he was able to compete in the 200IM at state as well. The future is bright for Andrew.” – Drew Scheerhorn

SCHOOL: Holland Christian
GRADE: Junior
WATER WORKS: Finished tenth within the 200 IM and was a part of state champion 400 free relay.

He contributes both in and out of the water and really stepped up this year after we graduated a large group of seniors. Miles was part of our 200 medley relay that placed second (1:34.83), as well as being a member of our state championship winning the 400 freestyle relay (3:08.77).” – Blake Assink

COACH’S VIEW: “Brady made a big step forward from his freshman year to his sophomore year. This season he had a huge impact on our mid-distance and distance events. He swam both the 200 and the 500 at conference and state – scoring in the top 16 at D1 state in the 500. We also relied on him in our relays throughout the season and had him anchoring our top 16 200 free relay at state as well.
