Girls’s Ice Hockey Set to Open Commemorative Lighthouse Jersey Public sale, April 22

The University of Maine girls’s ice hockey will open their public sale of game-worn, alternate lighthouse jerseys from this previous season beginning on April 22. The jerseys, made potential by means of a partnership with KeyBank, had been worn twice final season by the Black Bears, together with the Maine State Pride recreation in Portland.

The jersey options Maine’s iconic Portland Head Lighthouse outlined by the state of Maine. Maine’s navy colour scheme is the first colour of the jersey, with the columbia blue and white stripes. The Maine script brand is on every shoulder of the jersey in white.

A portion of the earnings will go to the Maine Inferno, an ice hockey affiliation for women of all age classifications and ability ranges in Maine.

“This is a great opportunity for our fans to get their hands on commemorative jerseys while supporting our program and local youth hockey for girls. Giving back and growing the game is something our program aspires to do, and we are again very thankful for KeyBank bringing these jerseys to life,” stated head coach Molly Engstrom.

Jerseys will probably be open to the general public for bidding beginning on April 22 at 12:00 AM. The public sale will undergo Saturday, April 25 till 5:00 PM.
