AANHPI Heritage Month Family Fun Day

This Family Fun Day is a vibrant celebration of Asian American,
Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month! This
open-house type occasion invitations households, college students, and group
members of all ages to discover the wealthy cultures, traditions, and
creativity discovered throughout AANHPI communities.

Activities Include:

• Lei Po’o Crafting: Create your individual custom flower crown
  whereas studying concerning the significance of lei-making in Native
  Hawaiian tradition.
• Make-Your-Own Musubi: Try your hand at
  assembling this beloved native Hawaiian snack.
• Filipino
  Parol Making: Design your individual colourful star lantern, a cherished
  image of hope and group in Filipino custom.
• Asian
  Chamber of Commerce of Colorado: Learn about native AANHPI-owned
  companies and group assets.
• Asian Student
  Association from CMU: Meet scholar leaders, get pleasure from cultural insights,
  and have interaction with campus group members.

Bring your curiosity, creativity, and family members for a day
of tradition, meals, artwork, and group connection.

Attendees will earn and take residence an Asian American Pacific
Islander Heritage Month patch.

• This shouldn’t be a drop-off occasion. All women should be accompanied
  by their caregiver or attend with their troop. Adult security ratios
  should be adopted. Please confer with Volunteer Essentials.
• This is a household occasion. Any relations of a present lady
  scout member could attend.
• Event capability may be very restricted.
  Registration will shut when capability is met.
