Job Description
Under the supervision of the Associate Executive Branch Director, the Head Coach of Competitive Swimming leads all elements of a year-round aggressive swim program, together with teaching, athlete improvement, employees management, and program operations.
This position is accountable for delivering a high-quality, mission-driven program that develops athletes at each stage whereas making certain efficient scheduling, meet execution, communication, and monetary oversight.

MEET MANAGEMENT & EVENTS
- Develops and manages meet schedules, entries, and competitors technique
- Leads planning and execution of hosted and co-hosted meets
- Coordinates amenities, officers, volunteers, and meet logistics
- Ensures compliance with sanctioning, security, and monetary necessities
STAFF LEADERSHIP & DEVELOPMENT
- Recruits, hires, trains, and supervises teaching employees

SAFETY COMPLIANCE & RISK MANAGEMENT
- Ensures compliance with YMCA Competitive Sports Rules, USA Swimming, and SafeSport necessities
- Maintains certification and screening necessities for workers and volunteers
- Enforces supervision requirements and protected practices always
VOLUNTEER MANAGEMENT & OVERSIGHT
- Recruits, organizes, and helps dad or mum and group volunteers
- Ensures all volunteers meet YMCA and USA Swimming security, coaching, certification, and membership necessities
- Oversees compliance with YMCA Child Abuse Prevention, Code of Conduct, and SafeSport-Minor Athlete Abuse
- Prevention Policies
- Assigns and coordinates volunteer roles for practices, meets, and crew occasions
- Communicates expectations for volunteer participation, together with service hours per household (if relevant)
FINANCIAL STEWARDSHIP & PROGRAM ACCOUNTABILITY
