Be a part of the Enjoyable Friday at sixth Annual Arbor Day Celebration

The Whitehall Garden Club will have a good time Arbor Day this Friday with its sixth Annual Arbor Day Celebration, within the Whitehall Community Center from midday till 3 PM.

While most holidays have a good time one thing that has already occurred and is price remembering, Arbor Day represents a hope for the longer term. The easy act of planting a tree displays a perception that it’ll develop to offer us with clear air and water, cooling shade, wildlife habitat, more healthy communities, and limitless pure magnificence – all for a greater tomorrow.

The Town of Whitehall will increase its’ Tree City USA Flags’ alongside Legion Street to have a good time Whitehall’s thirty third 12 months as a Tree City USA. Mayor Linda Jung will welcome the gang and browse a proclamation recognizing Arbor Day, its historical past, and its future. The Whitehall Garden Club members will distribute 33 tree seedlings and shrubs free to attendees. A wide range of tree- and plant-related info tables and distributors will assemble on the Whitehall Community Center, together with native companies providing specials for customers.
