Itziar Hoyos Cillero, PhD, is affiliate professor of nursing within the Department of Nursing I, Faculty of Medicine and Nursing, University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) (Spain), a place she has held since 2006. She obtained her PhD in Health Sciences in 2008 from the University of the Basque Country. She earned her Diploma in Nursing in 2000 (UPV/EHU), a Bachelor’s Degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology in 2004 (University of Deusto), and a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Physiology in 2007 (UPV/EHU). She is concerned in undergraduate and postgraduate nursing schooling, combining
instructing, analysis, and educational duties. Her analysis focuses on well being promotion, life-style behaviors, nursing schooling, faculty nursing, and public well being. Her work notably addresses health-promoting behaviors, prevention methods, and the position of nurses as well being educators, particularly amongst youngsters, adolescents, and college populations. She has participated in analysis tasks, authored and co-authored peer-reviewed publications, and led convention displays at nationwide and worldwide ranges. She is a member of the National and International Association of School Nursing (AMECE Spain), the Association of Nursing Sciences of Bizkaia (Academia de las Ciencias de la Enfermería de Bizkaia ACEB), and the Basque Society of Studies (Sociedad de Estudios Vascos/ Eusko Ikaskuntza EI), and he or she has obtained a number of awards for greatest
communication at scientific conferences.
