As our group is aware of, pathology informatics is essential to enhancing affected person care and democratizing entry to correct and environment friendly prognosis. We are pleased with the work on this subspecialty, and with API’s government director, Nova Smith’s dedication, we’re honored to host our first three recipients who can proceed to hold the mission of the Association for Pathology Informatics.

“Attendance at the Pathology Informatics Summit 2026 will provide essential exposure and collaboration to help establish a molecular and computational oral pathology unit in Nigeria. I will share what I have learned at the API Summit through postgraduate seminars and develop proposals for establishing a computational pathology unit within my hospital.
