Antisemitic assaults in UK and Europe immediate US Embassy journey alert

The U.S. Embassy in London on Friday warned Americans to “exercise increased caution” whereas visiting Jewish and American areas within the U.Ok. and in Europe due to a latest rise in threats.

“The U.S. Embassy in London notes recent attacks and threats targeting Jewish and American institutions in the United Kingdom and Europe,” the alert mentioned. “U.S. citizens, particularly those visiting institutions serving Jewish or American interests, should remain alert and exercise increased caution.”

The embassy additional suggested Americans to stay alert whereas visiting vacationer and expat areas and homes of worship, evaluate private safety plans and to verify native media for updates.

Concerned residents may also enroll within the State Department’s Safe Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) to obtain journey and safety updates.
