The forty fifth version of The Photography Show Presented by AIPAD, which ran April 22-26, opened final Wednesday with a VIP cocktail and vernissage that launched art-world attendees to the truthful’s milestone programming and elite roster of exhibitors. Guests congratulated this yr’s AIPAD Award recipient, Dr. Deborah Willis, firsthand, because the artist, creator, curator, professor, and Chair of the Department of Photography & Imaging at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts navigated the ground—which featured over 80 high worldwide galleries and the introduction of a brand new Focal Point sector devoted to solo displays. The enthusiasm from the night cascaded into the times that adopted, and thru the present’s AIPAD Talks lineup.
