Man charged in athletic director’s assault OK’d for journey

A person charged with
second-degree assault for allegedly punching Moanalua High School’s affiliate athletic director was granted permission Friday to briefly go away the state to journey to the mainland on a private matter subsequent week.

Aukusitino Noga Jr., a state correctional officer, was caught on safety digicam footage Dec. 4 punching Natalie Iwamoto to the bottom exterior the varsity fitness center. She suffered a concussion within the assault. Noga had been harassing referees at his son’s exhibition basketball sport and Iwamoto was escorting the referees to their automobiles.

Noga was launched from custody the subsequent day after posting a $15,000 bond. He has pleaded not responsible to the cost.

Oahu Circuit Judge
Catherine Remigio on Friday granted Noga’s movement to journey to Nebraska from
May 5 to May 10 to purchase a automobile for his son, then drive to Mitchell, S.D., to assist his son transfer out of his faculty dorm.

As a results of the Dec. 4 assault, the state Department of Education banned Noga and his spouse from all its campuses and properties. Iwamoto filed a short lived restraining order towards Noga, who’s 6 ft, 1 inch tall and weighs 310 kilos.
