16 Girl Vols Acknowledged as CRCA Scholar-Athletes

WILMINGTON, Del. — The CRCA introduced its 2026 Scholar-Athletes, with 16 members of the Tennessee rowing program incomes recognition.
 
Of Tennessee’s 16 honorees, 4 competed within the first varsity eight on the NCAA Championships, whereas six raced within the second varsity eight and two competed within the varsity 4.
 
The recognition marks the sixth consecutive season Tennessee has had 9 or extra student-athletes named to the group’s Scholar-Athlete checklist. The 16 honorees additionally tie this system file set in 2023. Tennessee has produced double-digit CRCA Scholar-Athlete alternatives in 5 of the previous six years.
 
To qualify for the distinction, student-athletes should keep a GPA of three.5 or greater, be at the very least a sophomore academically and compete in an NCAA-eligible boat or take part in at the very least 75% of the season’s races.
