Participants starting from toddlers to teenagers had the chance to choose up a racket and spend time on the courtroom Monday night throughout the Community Tennis Block Party.
The free occasion was held June 15 on the Terry L. Bunnell Tennis Courts at Caverna High School and welcomed gamers of all ages and skill ranges. Organized by the Weldon Tennis Association and Terry Bunnell, the occasion gave individuals, from novices to extra skilled gamers, an opportunity to apply, study, and enhance their abilities in a relaxed atmosphere.
With help from USTA Kentucky, individuals took half in quite a lot of tennis drills designed to enhance fundamentals, construct confidence, and encourage participation within the sport. USTA Kentucky works to advertise and develop tennis alternatives throughout the state, serving to make the game extra accessible to communities and gamers of all talent ranges.
