Superman world file try attracts huge crowd to competition in Livingston County

HAMBURG, Mich. (News 10) — The Hamburg Family Fun Fest kicked off with a Guinness World Record try Friday afternoon at Manly Bennett Park.

Organizers on the Livingston County competition tried to set the file for the most important gathering of individuals dressed as Superman.

To break the present file, they wanted at the least 858 individuals assembled within the iconic blue shirt with the yellow “S” and a crimson cape.

The effort was led by the Hamburg Enhanced Recreation Organization, celebrating native heroes who shield, educate and heal day-after-day.

“Well, it is our 20th anniversary and it is the 250th birthday of the United States of America. And we wanted to do something in America. And we wanted to do something in a big way to celebrate both of those and to celebrate the people that are so important to us, our everyday heroes,” mentioned Joana Hardesty, president of the H.E.R.O. group.

They didn’t have sufficient individuals to interrupt the file.

The celebration continues with a fireworks and laser gentle present scheduled for Friday night time. A basic automotive present is scheduled for Saturday.
