Rising nation music star Brooke Lee talks CMA Fest, new music and her iconic challenge with Chevrolet

NASHVILLE — CMA Fest is a spot to look at a few of the most iconic nation music stars and uncover some new ones so as to add to your playlist.

On The Red Carpet chatted with up-and-coming artist Brooke Lee, who was booked and busy with 5 exhibits throughout the four-day Fest.

“This year has been crazy busy, a lot busier than I’ve experienced in the past,” stated Lee. “It’s amazing. It’s also really neat because everybody’s here from everywhere. So you’re being exposed to so many new people and being on stage is my favorite thing in the world. So just getting lost in it, having a good time, it has been great.”

If you have seen a Chevrolet industrial not too long ago, Lee’s voice truly could sound acquainted to you. That’s her singing the “See the USA In Your Chevrolet” jingle.

“It was so special to be a part of something I feel like I can represent really well and vice versa. I love Chevy, I love what they’re all about. I’m a road tripper myself, I loved traveling. So being able to be part of a campaign that inspires other people to get out there and see America is really, really special and I’m proud to be a part of it,” Lee stated.

The collaboration made sense for Lee, who says highway tripping truly helps encourage songs, together with ones on her newest EP referred to as “Desert Darling.”

“I feel like I find most of my inspiration for my writing actually being on the road. So anytime there’s a trip involved, absolutely it’s up my alley,” Lee defined. “it’s my 19-to-25 chapter and just all the stories and life lessons in between that I feel like other people will be able to connect with and get to know me a little bit better So it’s been really fun getting out there and playing a lot.”

Lee’s obtained a brand new single popping out subsequent month, a track referred to as “Driver Dry.”

“It’s a fun one. It’s late night, get in the back seat of a car and just drive, have fun, dance. I just wanted something light and easy after this EP, so a good summer jam,” she stated of the track’s vibe.

After 5 exhibits round this 12 months’s CMA Fest, Lee is hoping to be again time and again.

“Everyone’s just so happy to be here and it’s a good vibe everywhere you go, I love it.”
