Program-File 21 Named To 2026 All-ACC Academic Males’s Lacrosse Team

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A program-record 21 North Carolina males’s lacrosse gamers have been named to the 2026 All-ACC Academic Men’s Lacrosse Team, the league workplace introduced Thursday afternoon.
 
The Tar Heels incomes tutorial recognition from the ACC embrace: Cole Aasheim, Luke Bair, Chase Cellucci, Owen Dixon, Owen Duffy, Caswell Friedman, Colin Hannigan, Caden Harshbarger, Parker Hoffman, Brett Koopman, Luke Macaluso, Josh Marcus, Parker McDonald, Gary Merrill, Andrew Preis, Nate Sage, Mason Szewczyk, Peter Thomann, Brady Wambach, Brevin Wilson and Matt Wrede.
 
Academic necessities for choice to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade-point common for the earlier two semesters and a 3.0 cumulative common throughout one’s tutorial profession. Additionally, student-athletes should compete in not less than 50 p.c of their staff’s contests.
 
Dixon, Duffy, Koopman Preis and Wrede earned All-ACC Academic Team recognition for the third time of their careers, as Aasheim, Cellucci, Hannigan, Harshbarger, Hoffman, Szewczyk, Thomann and Wilson collected honors for the second time.
