The World Aquatics Training Centre in Bahrain is increasing its swimming and diving scholarship programme and is looking for a passionate and certified Assistant Swimming Coach. Reporting to the Head Coach for Swimming and dealing carefully with the Scholarship Programme Manager, the profitable candidate will assist the each day coaching and growth of scholarship swimmers, uphold World Aquatics’ high-performance requirements, and contribute to the general success of the programme.

Main Responsibilities:

 Programme Management & Coaching

• Assist the Head Coach in managing each day coaching classes for scholarship swimmers.
• Collaborate with the Head Coach to implement the Annual Performance Plan and contribute to efficiency evaluations.
• Support the teaching group in executing coaching plans and periodisation aligned with the World Aquatics competitors schedule.
• Track and report on the efficiency of scholarship swimmers, offering suggestions to the Scholarship Programme Manager.
• Actively take part in educating athletes and coaches on anti-doping practices.
• Participate within the preparation and supply of teaching classes, guaranteeing clear explanations and demonstrations to optimise swimmer growth.
