BRATTLEBORO — In-Sight Photography Project will host a celebration to rejoice the two hundredth anniversary of the primary everlasting {photograph}, “View from the Window at Le Gras,” created by Nicéphore Niépce, throughout the summer time of 1826.

The nonprofit has been offering photographic arts schooling programming to youth in Brattleboro since 1992, via afterschool, night, college trip and thru partnerships with native colleges and nonprofit organizations.

“In photography, science meets the expressive arts, and students get to experiment while making images of the things that spark their curiosity,” says InSight Co-Director Jess Iris. “So, we’re celebrating the experiment that started this awesome art form 200 years ago.”
