5 Wolfpack Athletes Set to Compete at 2026 Pan Pacific Championships

IRVINE, CA. Four Wolfpack athletes are set to compete on the 2026 Pan Pacific Championships, going down Wednesday, Aug. 12 by Saturday, Aug. 15.

Coverage of each the morning and night classes can be obtainable on Peacock and NBCSN, with dwell outcomes posted on the Omega timing website. Preliminary classes will start at 1 p.m. ET every day, adopted by finals at 10 p.m. ET.

Representing Team USA can be Katharine Berkoff, Leah Shackley, Daniel Diehl and Quintin McCarty, together with assistant coach Stefani Wendelschaefer. Incoming freshman Morgan Cope can even compete on the championships, representing South Africa. Coach Wendelscheafer was named to the Team USA Pan Pacific Championships teaching workers again in June. Wendelschaefer was chosen in each 2023 and 2024 to educate the USA National crew. 

Shackley and Berkoff are each set to compete within the girls’s 100m backstroke, with Berkoff getting into the competitors ranked third and Shackley ranked sixth. On the boys’s facet, Diehl enters the 100m backstroke ranked fourth general.

McCarty will look to construct on his current success after profitable gold within the 50m backstroke only one week in the past. He entered the Pan Pacific Championships ranked second within the 50m backstroke and fourth within the 50m freestyle, positioning him as a powerful contender in each occasions.
