SEATTLE — Seattle U males’s and ladies’s swimming have introduced their schedules for the upcoming 2026-27 season, as introduced by Head Coach Joe Dykstra. The Redhawks will compete in a mixed 10 meets this season, together with three residence meets on the Redhawk Center.
“We are thrilled with our 2026-27 schedule,” Dykstra stated. “It is the most dates of home Division I competition we’ve ever had.”
As is custom, the Redhawks will kick off the season with the annual Alumni Meet on Saturday, Sept. 26. The occasion welcomes Seattle U swimming alumni again to the Redhawk Center for a meet and social gathering.
Friday, Oct. 9 marks the official begin of the season for each groups. The ladies will journey to Moscow, Idaho, to face the Vandals, whereas the boys will start a two-day meet in Tacoma in opposition to Puget Sound and Simon Fraser. The ladies will then face Washington State in Pullman on Oct. 10 earlier than each groups head to California later within the month. “The women’s MPSF with 16 teams competing will be the largest Division I college swim championships ever, so we’ve got to really get ready for an intense competition to get second swims there,” Dykstra added. “Our men are well positioned to compete in an eight-team men’s MPSF.”
